Mapping Your Story: A Writing Workshop

A Military Spouse Writing Workshop in Norfolk
Mapping Your Story: A Writing Workshop
Join Veteran’s Spouse Project for Mapping Your Story, an in-person writing workshop created for military and veteran spouses ready to explore their lived experiences through storytelling.
Using guided prompts built around “person, place, and thing,” facilitators Audra Edwards and Amy Uptgraft will help participants navigate the twists, transitions, and defining moments that shape a military spouse journey. Together, you’ll explore meaningful memories, unexpected turning points, and the small details that make your story uniquely yours.
This interactive workshop offers a supportive space to reflect, write, and connect with others who understand the complexity of military life. Whether you’re new to writing or have been carrying stories for years, this experience is designed to help you begin mapping your personal narrative in a thoughtful and encouraging environment.
